Piña Colada CBD Lollipops

After you try these CBD suckers, you’re sure to have some flavor combo ideas of your own. You can even branch out with different hard candy molds. This recipe was adapted from The Spruce Eats foolproof method for lollipops for the easiest approach possible.

Makes 8 Piña Colada CBD Lollipops

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup light corn syrup
  • ¼ water
  • ½ tsp coconut extract
  • 8 dropperfuls of any CBD Tincture of your choice
  • A few drops of yellow food coloring (optional)

Directions

  • Brush or spray the lollipop molds with cooking oil. You don’t want pools of oil, so dab away excess oil with a paper towel.
  • Position the lollipop sticks in the molds.
  • Combine the sugar, corn syrup, and water in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
  • Stir to dissolve the sugar, then brush down the sides of the pan with a wet pastry brush.
  • At the first sign of boiling, insert the candy thermometer. Do NOT stir. Allow the mixture to boil until it reaches 300 ℉.
  • Remove from the heat. Let the mixture sit in the pan undisturbed until all boiling stops.
  • Stir in the coconut extract, CBD drops, and food coloring if using.
  • Use a spoon to carefully fill the lollipop molds. Make sure you cover the stick so you aren’t left with sad, stickless disks. Allow to cool for 10 minutes or until hardened, then remove from the molds.

Equipment & Supplies

  • Lollipop molds
  • 8 lollipop sticks
  • Flavorless cooking oil, such as canola oil, or non-stick cooking spray
  • Candy thermometer
  • Medium saucepan
  • Pastry brush
  • Spoon

Unless you and seven friends are sending these CBD lollipops down the hatch right away, store them in an airtight container with a label clearly marking the CBD contents.

Alternatively, you can wrap them up in wax paper and twist the end around the stick for a good ol’ fashioned lollipop look. Scribble a quick (or fancy) note on each one stating it’s a CBD-infused sweetie.
